Network Registry Search
This tool can be used by system administrators to locate machines on the network
Network Registry Search searches the registries of computers connected to the network for specific values and, if specified, data.
One possible usage of this utility is to identify computers that are infected with a specific computer virus. Often, a virus registers itself to be run automatically at system startup. Network Registry Search lets you find such registry entries without physically checking every computer on the network.
Requirements:
- Network Registry Search has been tested on Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows XP, and Microsoft Windows Server 2003.
This software, while interesting, only searches two hives (HKLM and HKU) which is completely inadequate.
